Part-Time Consultant - Remote position based in Italy

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality & Security Consultant to support our certification initiatives in a fully remote mode . This role will be instrumental in strengthening our security framework and supporting us through the certification processes. This is a consulting role of about 15-20 hours per week for independent professionals who already operate with Partita IVA and are based in Italy . Please do not apply if you do not fulfill these requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the transition from SOC2 Type I to SOC2 Type II certification
• Lead our ISO27001 certification process from initial gap assessment to final certification
• Work with our existing Drata compliance platform to optimize evidence collection and monitoring
• Develop and implement necessary security policies and procedures
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
• Train staff on security best practices and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls are properly implemented
• Prepare for and support external audits

Requirements

• Proven experience with ISO27001 implementation and certification
• Experience with SOC2 compliance, particularly the transition from Type I to Type II
• Familiarity with compliance automation platforms, particularly Drata
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks and best practices
• Excellent project management and documentation skills
• Outstanding communication abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with startups and scaling security programs preferred
