Job summary

Glacier, Castel D’Ario plant, is seeking a highly qualified Quality Manager to oversee the entire quality control system for manufacturing processes and finished products. You will work closely with Production Supervisors, Laboratory, and Certification Bodies to ensure GMP/ISO compliance and EHS standards.

The role focuses on data-driven continuous improvement, leading the quality team, scheduling audits, and maintaining technical documentation, product specifications and control checklists

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 5–7 years of solid experience in a similar quality management role within structured industrial environments, preferably in a food company.
• Deep knowledge of GMP/ISO, BRC and IFS standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule quality control activities aligned with production plans and deadlines.
• Monitor quality KPIs and develop corrective actions to reduce scrap and improve line performance.
• Oversee laboratory test scheduling in collaboration with Production Planning.
• Maintain technical documentation, product specifications and control checklists; support internal and external quality audits.

The position reports directly to the Plant Director.The Quality Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the entire quality control system for manufacturing processes and finished products.Working in close synergy with Production Supervisors, the Laboratory, and Certification Bodies, you will ensure strict compliance with company standards, industry regulations (GMP/ISO), and EHS requirements.
