Job summary

ABB E-mobility is seeking a QMS Manager to own and evolve our global Quality Management System, ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial, or comparable technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in QMS roles within industrial, manufacturing, or technology-driven environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; familiarity with ISO 14001/45001 is a plus.
• Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Govern and continuously improve the QMS, ensuring alignment with ABB global procedures and ISO-based standards.
• Maintain QMS documentation, including process landscape, policies, procedures, templates, and document control.
• Lead the internal audit program and coordinate external audits, ensuring readiness and timely closure of findings.
• Oversee nonconformance and CAPA processes, ensuring containment, root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive Management Reviews, consolidate performance insights, and monitor QMS KPIs.
• Improve QMS systems, workflows, and data quality to support effective reporting.
• Deliver QMS training and awareness programs, coaching teams and process owners.
• Act as the central interface for QMS topics across sites and functions, collaborating with Quality, Operations, Engineering/R&D, Supply Chain, HSE, and Project teams.

• Promote risk-based thinking and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standardsLead the internal audit program and coordinate external audits, ensuring readiness and timely closure of findings
• Oversee nonconformance and CAPA processes, ensuring containment, solid root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions
• Drive Management Reviews, consolidate performance insights, and monitor QMS KPIs
• Improve QMS systems, workflows, and data quality to support effective reporting

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial, or comparable technical field

• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; familiarity with ISO 14001/45001 is a plus
• Experience leading internal/external audits and managing NC/CAPA processes
• Auditor certification preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
• Availability to travel 10-20%
