An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and ensuring that all products meet quality assurance standards. You will work closely with supervisors, adhering to safety protocols while maintaining a high level of detail in your inspections. This position is 100% On-site.
This position is Continental Weekend Day Shift Thursday / Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm.
JOB SUMMARY
Assist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence in all endeavors while adhering to all safety requirements. Verify all hardware components are assembled in accordance with customer specifications. Electronically document any errors or faults as needed.
SHIFT / SCHEDULE
Quality Inspectors are required to work 12-hour shifts, on the following schedule:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years' experience in a relevant Jabil production position or equivalent external work experience. Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or a degree in a related field preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Individual’s primary workstation is located on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Quality Inspectors are required to wear appropriate PPE, including: hearing protection, composite toe shoes, and protective eyewear. The manufacturing floor is well-lit and climate controlled.
