The Quality Engineer is responsible for the development, testing and implementation of improvements in quality and food safety programs. The position is responsible for investigating quality and food safety risk areas and taking appropriate action i.e. initiate actions for improvements of product quality and manufacturing processes, work instructions, procedures and methods. The Quality Engineer provides support for the technology transfer and validation programs and assists in the delivery of training and instructions concerning the quality and validation learnings, work procedures and instructions. The Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure conformance with C/P and Hill's quality and food safety programs and operational standards. The Quality Engineer monitors CAPA/non-conformance programs, troubleshoots quality issues, and optimizes current quality performance. The Quality Engineer assists in implementing legislative and corporate food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory initiatives. The Quality Engineer analyzes Quality KPIs and participates in continuous improvement programs.
