Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control technician to join our team and help ensure that our products and processes consistently meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The position involves monitoring, inspecting, and testing products throughout the production process. The Quality Control junior will be responsible for implementing quality control testing, collaborating with various departments to maintain high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of molecular, cellular biology, and immunology, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform release, characterization, and stability analyses; define procedures and validations related to QC.
• Perform analytical tests on raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, and environmental samples, according to regulations.
• Release or reject raw materials depending on the specifications of each material.
• Verify microbiological sampling results in production areas.
• Knowledge and application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for analytical methods and use and cleaning of relevant instrumentation.
• Fill and maintain appropriate laboratory documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in scientific disciplines (e.g., Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or similar).
• Practical laboratory experience (PCR, qPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, enzymatic digestions, SDS PAGE, pH, osmolality).
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication (verbal/written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment; adaptable to rapid changes in priorities and deadlines.
