FICEP S.p.A. invites applications for a Quality Control Technician to join the Quality Control Department.

The role involves dimensional inspections, report preparation, NCR management via AS400, and supporting production with on-line measurements and final testing. The ideal candidate holds a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, has hands-on experience with measuring instruments including CMM, and is proficient with MS Office.

Competenze

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Prior experience in the metalworking industry, even at entry level.
• Knowledge of technical drawings.
• Good knowledge and use of the main measuring instruments, including CMM.
• Experience with AS400 is a plus, and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 is desirable.

QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

The person will be assigned to the Quality Control Department and will be responsible for the following activities:

• Perform dimensional inspections of mechanical components, both upon receipt and within the production departments, using the appropriate measuring instruments.
• Prepare inspection reports and measurement records.
• Manage the preparation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through the AS400 system.
• Support production with measurement activities during the manufacturing process and during the final machine testing.
• Carry out inspections at customers’ and suppliers’ premises on FICEP components or machines.
• Calibrate measuring instruments in compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

• Technical diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Previous experience, even at an entry level, in the metalworking industry.
• Knowledge of technical drawings.
• Good knowledge and use of the main measuring instruments.
• Experience in the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of the FARO measurement system.
• Knowledge of the AS400 management system.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards.

Offer Details

• Working hours: Full-time, day shift, on-site, Monday to Friday.
• Gross annual salary (RAL): €25,000–€35,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
