We are currently recruiting Candidates for the position of Site QC Inspector for a client company of ours with a construction site in southern Italy.

Position title : Site QC Inspector

Department : Project Inspection

Location : Napoli

Role Description :

The Site QC Inspector ensures that the quality of all installed and delivered components meets both company standards and customer contractual requirements. The role is based on-site and works closely with the Project Inspection Manager and other project stakeholders

This position includes a period of activity at the Naples area site and a period of activity at the Site in France.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Plan and coordinate quality inspections on-site according to the Inspection Plan
  • Supervise welding activities and ensure correct procedures (WPS / PQR, welder qualifications, NDT certifications, equipment calibration)
  • Oversee non-destructive testing (RT, PT), including documentation review
  • Monitor cleanliness standards for oxygen and MOCA use (after specific training)
  • Identify and manage non-conformities (NCRs), propose corrective actions, and follow up
  • Inspect incoming materials and manage storage conditions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect and validate quality documentation
  • Support inspections with notified bodies (e.g. PED, ASME)
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and third-party inspectors

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Good command of English (minimum B2)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, welding, materials, pressure equipment codes (ASME, PED)
  • Familiarity with ASU plants and pressure vessels
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and reading technical certificates

Duration : 6 months with possibility of extension

Remuneration for this position is negotiable depending on experience.
