Job summary

Energy Dome S.p.A. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support manufacturing and inspection activities at our Milan site. The role requires hands-on QC oversight of welding, fabrication and NDE processes within a growing energy storage technology company.

You will review plans, procedures and records, coordinate inspectors, manage NCRs and strive to meet QC targets while promoting a safe, environmentally responsible workplace. Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Experience in welding, fabrication and standard NDE techniques.
• Knowledge of major codes (ASME/EN) and PED/Machinery directives.
• CSWIP 3.1 or NDE Level II desirable.
• Italian and professional English mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Creation, review and/or approval of Project Inspection and Test Plans, based on contractual requirement and internal standards.
• Review and approval of preliminary vendor's procedures like welding book, NDE procedure, PWHT procedure, Hardness Test procedure, etc.
• Review and approval of Inspection and Test Records including Final Manufacturing Record books (MRB), issuing Inspection Release Note at time.
• Coordinate external inspectors for assignment on all global scale.
• Manage internal and external NCR aspects including creation, discussion and closure.
• Carry out inspection activities directly during the manufacturing progress as well as at final stage, by performing VDI and/or attending other inspections tasks like NDE, hydrostatic test, etc.
• Provide QC support to all internal/external customers by managing correspondence and keeping a good and productive relationship.
• Ensure that Company QC Targets are reached.
• Promote the Company culture as well as QHSE policy.
• Promote a health, safe and environmentally responsible working environment.

Required Qualifications and Knowledge:

Master's degree is a plus; Experience in welding, fabrication and standard NDE techniques.Knowledge of major Codes for pressure Vessel (ASME/EN), Pressure Piping (ASME/EN), Structural Codes (ASCI/EN) and all major Directive/Code/Norms like PED Directive, Machinery Directive, EN1090+ISO3834, AWS D1.1, etc...CSWIP 3.1, NDE Level II in Radiographic interpretation (desirable)European welding engineers or technologist (desirable)Painting certification NACE or FROSIO (Desirable)

Remuneration

The role offers a gross annual salary between €45. in addition to a structured benefits package, commensurate with experience and seniority.
