Quality Assurance Specialist

Who will you be working with?

CoFren Wabtec Group in Avellino site, is a manufacturer and supplier of brake pads for freight and passenger trains. You will be part of the Quality department, working for Quality Assurance.

How will you make a difference?

As Quality Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing the quality standards of products or services, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

What will your typical day look like?

• Defining Quality standards and policies
• Ensure compliance of Quality Management System with legal standards and regulations
• Drive focus on continuous improvement
• Understanding customer expectations and needs
• Seek feedback from customers and ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Supplier Quality Management to ensure that products and materials supplied by external vendors meet the company's quality standards
• Lead First Article Inspection process to verify that the manufacturing process can produce parts that meet the required specifications and tolerances before full-scale production begins
• Monitor operations affecting quality
• Supervise QA staff and guide inspectors
• Analyze quality data and identify improvement areas
• Communicate with external QA officers during inspections

What do we want to know about you?

• Degree or high school certification in technical / engineering field
• +3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or similar role
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and standards
• Knowledge and experience in the field of Customer Quality, Supplier Quality and Project Quality
• Professional knowledge of English
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Able to work in a team as well as independently
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Leadership abilities and attention to detail
• Availability to travel
