Competenze

  • Almeno 7 anni di esperienza in attività di Quality Assurance.
  • Preferibilmente esperienza in contesti elettronici o aerospaziali.
  • Conoscenza di standard qualitativi ISO 9001 / AS9100.

  • Fornire visibilità e approfondimenti sulla gestione della qualità.
  • Supportare l'analisi e la risoluzione dei problemi.

Gorgonzola hosts the Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of the NAS domain includes avionics, navigation, and radar systems for civil air traffic, as well as technologies supporting civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians of various airlines, air traffic control agencies, and the Air Force around the world. Italy serves as the Group’s Competence Center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products and for non-Radar Surveillance Products.

Job Objectives

  • As a Quality Assurance Manager : Evaluate the execution of quality processes and provide visibility and insights about quality matters on product development, key bids, and projects (Risk-Driven Quality Assurance), in accordance with Thales Management System (Chorus) and applicable regulations (ISO, AQAP, EASA).
  • As an Engineering Quality Leader : Support the development of engineering maturity through diagnostics, proposals for improvement, follow-up on action plans, and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback on quality risks to support decision-making during bids and project reviews.
  • Evaluate the execution of product development, bids, and project management, providing visibility and insights on quality matters.
  • Support problem-solving analysis and resolution.
  • Assist teams in process tailoring.
  • Raise alerts when process performance is inadequate and support actions to restore performance.
  • Assist teams in managing customer complaints and restoring customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a quality referent in the engineering process (Solution, SW, HW) and practices, supporting deployment and improvement.
  • Identify recurrent issues, drive root cause analysis, and coordinate transversal improvements to enhance organizational maturity.
  • Contribute to performance indicator analysis, prevention, support, and capitalization.
  • Support the deployment of new standards and regulations.
  • Assist in external certifications and audits.
  • Analyze audit data, customer complaints, and alerts to prevent risks.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance activities or senior roles in similar positions.
  • University degree in Engineering or technical disciplines (Electronic preferred) or equivalent.
  • Experience in Quality within Engineering / Development teams, preferably in Electronics or Aerospace contexts.
  • Proven experience in at least two of the following areas : AGILE at SCALE (SW, HW, SYSTEM Integration), Process Analysis and Improvement, Knowledge of Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards ISO 9001 / AS9100 and AQAP 2110.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (MS Office).
  • Key attributes : Analytical and synthetic mindset, influence management skills, autonomy, rigor, pragmatism, proactive problem anticipation, and ability to work with multicultural teams.
