Job Summary

QA stands for “Quality Assurance”. A Quality Assurance Engineer identifies whether the product or application developed will meet the client’s requirements or not.

The main goal is to ensure that the product developed is bug-free and running efficiently. Since a QA engineer has a good understanding of designing, implementing, debugging, and defining test cases, they play a vital role in the product development life cycle and identify any issues with the product before its launch.

This job offers a multicultural environment, work in a Scrum Agile Team and learn most updated tools in the marketing for testing.

Objectives & Responsibilities

1. The individual will be responsible for writing and maintaining automated test suites.
2. Willing to learn in a fast-paced environment requiring broad experience, adaptability, quick learning and excellent problem-solving skills.
3. Reporting on JIRA defects.
4. Review Requirements, specifications and technical design documents.
5. Analyze Test Automation and Non-regression results.
6. Working closely with QA Manager to continuously improve and implement best practices in the team.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. 3 year University degree in electrical, electronics, computer science/engineering.
2. 4+ years of Software Testing or Software Quality Assurance experience.
3. Object Oriented Programming skills (JavaScript, Java or other).
4. REST API concepts.
5. Expert with XML, JSON.
6. Knowledge in Linux.
7. Expert at modern QA Practices.
8. Comfortable with GitHub, gitlab or similar version source control solutions.
9. Postman/newman api automation.
10. Strong communication in English both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Git flow Workflow.
2. Experience using Cypress.io or Selenium for automated tests.
3. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
4. Experience with containerization.
5. Cucumber Gherkins hands on.
