Job Description:

Reports to: Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator

Job Purpose:

This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator. The role involves assisting in managing the Quality Assurance processes for Shoes, Leather Goods, and Jewellery. The person will handle all back-office activities related to the quality department, liaising with external manufacturers, suppliers, and technical departments at JC Florence as instructed.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Checking and managing the correct functioning of engineering and development procedures (conformity and TDS, hardware validation management).
  • Formalizing quality procedures (manuals for factories and suppliers) under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator.
  • Managing and creating quality information documents such as tolerance sheets, disclaimers, and other supporting documentation.
  • Attending technical meetings to analyze collections and identify potential quality risks.
  • Supporting collection analysis and TDS list decisions with the Quality Assurance Sr Coordinator.
  • Assisting with wear test management processes.
  • Supporting the resolution of main quality issues during production.
  • Developing quality specifications and checklists.
  • Developing technical skills in quality control for Shoes, Leather Goods, Jewellery, and hardware raw materials, and inspecting finished products when needed.

Competencies and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable technical knowledge in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
  • Experience with luxury brands.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and use systems (QC system).
