Una azienda leader nella produzione di spray vegetali e creme di cottura cerca un Coordinatore di Laboratorio Microbiologico per garantire la qualità conforme nella produzione alimentare. La figura si occuperà di gestire le attività del laboratorio, le non conformità e le richieste per la qualifica dei materiali. Si richiede laurea in discipline scientifiche e esperienza nel settore alimentare.

Competenze

  • Esperienza precedente in laboratori microbiologici nell'industria alimentare.
  • Conoscenza della tecnologia UHT.
  • Buona conoscenza dell'inglese (livello B2).

Mansioni

  • Coordina le attività di laboratorio e il personale.
  • Gestisce le non conformità microbiologiche secondo le procedure.
  • Prepara rapporti mensili basati su analisi delle tendenze.

QC Microbiological Lab Coordinator

Position: Quality Control Microbiological Lab Coordinator

Department: Quality Department

Location: IFFCO ITALIA, Marcianise (CE)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure, in accordance with company procedures, the proper execution of quality control activities across all stages of the process, from raw material reception, packaging, to finished product realization;
  • Initiate and complete the management process for microbiological non-conformities by correctly following company procedures and documenting actions taken;
  • Ensure the correct application of all operational instructions related to microbiological quality control;
  • Manage customer/consumer complaints as per company procedures, maintain the relevant records, and provide necessary information to involved functions; collaborate in defining parameters for raw materials/packaging/products qualification and related sampling plans/specifications;
  • Independently coordinate laboratory activities and personnel, leading continuous improvement plans.

Main Activities

  1. Prepare monthly reports based on trend analysis prioritized by Quality Management;
  2. Assist in conducting periodic internal audits related to key production activities (Mixing, Treatments, Packaging, Sanitation, etc.) to verify compliance with procedures;
  3. Initiate and perform specific sampling following deviations from company quality standards;
  4. Ensure documentation and records of control activities conducted by laboratory technicians are compliant, properly updated, archived, and accessible online;
  5. Manage technical staff regarding leave, permits, and shifts;
  6. Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning, calibration, and servicing;
  7. Ensure correct application of analytical methodologies as dictated by AQ;
  8. Support validation of method efficacy;
  9. Contribute to the improvement of quality KPIs related to the area of expertise.

Requirements and Skills

  • Degree in scientific disciplines (Biology or related fields) or equivalent qualification;
  • Previous experience in microbiological laboratories within the food industry or food analysis laboratories;
  • HACCP certification;
  • UHT technology knowledge;
  • Analytical skills and decision-making ability, especially in uncertain situations, including risk communication;
  • Good command of English (B2 level).
