Job summary

GSK is seeking a Quality Control Direct Director in Parma, Italy. This role leads Analytical and Microbiology testing and release, aligning Parma operations with the Biopharm network strategy and ensuring cGMP compliance across the department.

The director will provide technical leadership to QC supervisors, manage investigations, CAPAs, and collaborations with R&D, Global QC, manufacturing sites, and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QC/analytical labs in pharma or biopharma.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ICH, FDA guidelines and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee analytical and microbiology testing and release activities.
• Lead testing support for Parma site and Biopharm network, balancing priorities.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors and analysts in QC Laboratory.
• Drive a data-driven culture (ALCOA) and ensure compliant data handling.
• Support regulatory submissions and internal/external audits.
