Eli Lilly Italia, for the Sesto Fiorentino plant, is seeking a QC Chemical Laboratory Technician.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Performing analytical tests in accordance with prescribed methods and regulations
  • Quantitative and qualitative testing on raw materials
  • Instrumental testing and control of chemical-physical characteristics on finished products and stability samples
  • Chemical analyses on APIs and excipients
  • Sampling and analysis of plant fluids
  • Preparation of reagents and solutions for analytical tests following GMP and company SOPs
  • General maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Managing and interpreting analytical data using laboratory software (Empower, SmartLab)
  • Handling samples and entering data into the Darwin LIMS system

The candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with GMP and corporate standards in their assigned area
  • Collaborating daily with the HSE department to ensure the safety of laboratory infrastructure and personnel
  • Managing the flow of chemical reagents (receiving, storage, disposal) and laboratory equipment
  • Participating in cleaning and maintaining the laboratory

Required qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Technologies
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, IR and FTIR spectrophotometers, pH meter, conductivity meter, centrifuge, Ostwald viscosimeter)
  • Good knowledge of English
  • This position offers an initial fixed-term contract
  • Availability to work in morning/afternoon shifts
