emagine seeks a QA / Testing Engineer in Turin, Italy to validate vehicle software functions using HIL simulations, diagnostics, and OTA validation. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days in the Turin office and a total of 40 hours per week.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in automotive software testing, strong HIL proficiency, and experience with UDS/CAN diagnostics and OTA validation. English and Italian skills are a plus in this international project environment.

Summary

The role of QA / Testing Engineer focuses on validating vehicle software functions, specifically through Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation, vehicle diagnostics, and Over-the-Air (OTA) validation. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and performance of automotive software systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.
• Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.
• Validate end-to-end functionality of Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
• Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive software testing.
• Proficiency in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, including UDS (ISO 14229) and CAN protocols.
• Experience with OTA validation and testing.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools.
• Experience with CAPL scripting for test automation.
• Fluency in both English and Italian.
