Why This Role Is Right for You
As a QA & Test Automation Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Milan or Rome. Together, we work on the ISV Nordics Platform, an initiative that accelerates merchant onboarding through a next-gen partner portal. Our goal: enable ISVs to activate merchants in just 48 hours – securely, reliably, and at scale.

About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:

• Design and implement an end-to-end testing strategy across frontend and backend services.
• Develop automated test cases for UI components (e.g. Selenium) and backend APIs (e.g. Postman, Jest).
• Set up regression and integration test suites within CI/CD pipelines to validate each release.
• Simulate and validate the full onboarding flow from the perspective of an ISV partner.
• Manage test data preparation, mocking external systems as needed.
• Collaborate with developers to report, reproduce, and validate fixes for identified issues.
• Promote quality best practices such as performance benchmarking and security validation.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience in QA automation for both frontend and backend applications.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Postman, Jest, or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of API testing, test coverage strategies, and issue tracking.
• Fluency in English; comfortable working in a cross-functional, international team.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with payments or financial platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and message-based systems.
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g. Docker) and test environment orchestration.
• Ability to define and manage test data generation and mocking strategies.
• Experience in performance or load testing (e.g. JMeter, k6).
