About the position

  • We are seeking a skilled welding inspector with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality control. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in welding and fabrication, familiar with EN and ASME standards and NDT techniques. If qualified and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and sign off on project Final Inspection Release Certificates, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and inspection/test procedures.
  • Review and approve vendor manufacturing data, including WPS/PQR/NDE/painting procedures/ITP.
  • Review and sign off on Inspection and Test Records, and finalize Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
  • Provide inspection cover for European suppliers as needed.
  • Conduct dimensional, visual, NDE, and other inspections during and after manufacture.
  • Offer QC support to all departments.
  • Assist Project Managers as required.
  • Ensure the company's QC objectives are met.
  • Strive to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and policies.
  • Promote a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible working environment in line with the QHSE Policy.
  • Review fabrication drawings, prepare Weld Procedures, and develop Manufacturing, Engineering, and Testing Procedures.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • Knowledge of structural steel and pipework fabrication, CE Marking, Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU), and ISO 3834.
  • Certifications: CSWIP 3.1, PCN Level II DPE, MPI.
  • Radiographic interpretation desirable.
  • Familiarity with Euronorm and ASME construction, inspection, and welding codes and standards.
  • European Welding Engineer certification is a plus.
  • Experience in QC activities within an engineering/manufacturing site.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of implementing new processes and working autonomously.
  • A reliable team player who is resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Confident, assertive, and able to use initiative.
  • Must reside within a 1-hour commute to the office or be willing to relocate locally.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
