E80 Group is seeking a QA Projects Engineer in Italy to support automated intralogistics software and robotics projects. You will design test plans, track defects and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver quality solutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software and automation testing, experience with UI/API testing, scripting (C#, Python, Bash/PowerShell) and fluent English. The role offers hybrid work with up to 40% smart working.

Competenze

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines).
• 3+ years of working experience in software testing and automation testing.
• Knowledge of testing at Unit, Integration, System and Acceptance levels.
• Ability to design test plans, write procedures, execute and track results.
• Experience in writing test cases and test reports.
• Experience with performance/scale/stress testing and related tools/techniques.
• Scripting and programming experience (C#, Python, Bash/PowerShell).
• Experience with test automation tools: UI (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress) and API (JMeter, Postman).
• SQL databases and unit testing (JUnit or similar).
• Fluent English.

Within the projects engineer organization we are looking for aQA Projects Engineer who can actively and effectively contribute to the quality assurance of our new projects, bringing in his experience and willing to learn about the unique blend of robotics, software engineering, automation and networking we have.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation, planning and execution of test plans, both regarding functional, performance, scalability and security aspects
• Track defects, gather data and monitor quality metrics
• Collaborate with the team in reproducing, troubleshooting and integrating the defect fixes

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines)
• 3+ years of working experience in the software testing and automation testing areas
• Knowledge and competence of testing at different test levels (Unit, Integration, System and Acceptance).
• Ability to design test plans, write the relate procedures, execute and track results properly.
• Experience in writing test cases and test reports
• Working experience with performance/scale/stress testing and related tools & tecniques
• Competence and work experience on scripting and programming languages (i.e. C#, python, bash / powershell)
• Working experience with test automation tools, such as:
• UI (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress or similar) - API (Apache Jmeter, Postman or similar)
• SQL database
• Unit testing (Junit or similar)
• Fluent English
