Overview
Join to apply for the QA Engineer role at Miniclip in Genoa (Italy). This is a full-time position; please apply only if you have the right to work in Italy.
What you will be doing
- Develop, maintain and extend automated test suites for game features on mobile
- Support and evolve existing automation frameworks and custom QA tools when needed
- Collaborate with game testers and developers to ensure smooth integration of automated tests
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and assist in troubleshooting build/test failures
- Coordinate Facebook compliance processes and contribute to compliance activities for other platforms and internal policies (Apple App Store, Google Play, COPPA, GDPR), maintaining documentation and coordinating with external partners throughout certification
- Proactively suggest improvements to testing workflows and compliance practices
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with automated testing
- Strong interest in programming; experience in object-oriented languages, with C# highly desirable (Python, Java or similar also valuable)
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Willingness to learn compliance requirements (GDPR, COPPA, store policies) and integrate them into testing practices
- Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience with Unity or mobile game development
- Knowledge of app-store submission processes (Apple App Store, Google Play)
- Exposure to compliance standards and platform policies (e.g., GDPR, COPPA, App Store, Google Play, Facebook/Meta)
- Background in test infrastructure or QA tool development
- Experience troubleshooting Jenkins pipelines and build systems
- Experience with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- System administration experience
