An IT services provider is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong JavaScript skills and experience in Selenium automation. The role involves maintaining the automation framework and collaborating on testing processes for a Human Capital Management project. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in test automation, and fluency in German is required.

Overview

We are seeking for experienced QA Automation Engineers to focus on maintaining and enhancing a Selenium-based automation framework using JavaScript. This role involves developing automated tests, upgrading components, and providing 2nd/3rd-level support for a Human Capital Management project in Germany's public sector. Candidates will support UI migrations and collaborate on robust testing processes using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Jenkins, and more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Selenium framework with JavaScript, including page objects.
• Design and implement test cases (integration, functional, load/performance) using Playwright and Selenium.
• Perform security checks (JFrog) and code quality checks (SonarQube).
• Implement Gatling for performance testing.
• Configure Jenkins Pipelines with Gradle.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide support, optimize processes.
• Collaborate on upgrades, training, and knowledge sharing.

What Youll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent level through experience and professional training.
• Minimum 3-5 years in test automation with Selenium WebDriver (JavaScript).
• Strong JavaScript skills for scripts.
• UI testing knowledge (Page Object Model, XPath/CSS).
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket, dependency management.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, JFrog, Jira, etc.
• Technical support and troubleshooting ability.
• Fluency in German.

Nice To Have

• Experience in public sector/HCM software testing.
• Large-scale automation environments.
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification.
