Opportunity: PV Proposal Engineer / Sales

Join our international energy consultancy, Worldwide Recruitment Energy, with offices in Mexico City, Madrid, and Milan. We specialize in global recruitment for the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, biomass, hydroelectric, energy efficiency, and oil & gas.

Our client is a leading international Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on large-scale renewable projects, primarily photovoltaics.

Mission

We are seeking an experienced PV Proposal Engineer / Sales professional to manage technical and economic proposals. This role involves preparing project bids, handling RFQs, and supporting commercial negotiations, playing a key role in the company's growth.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Preparing commercial proposals: Developing tailored technical and economic offers for photovoltaic projects, aligned with client needs, technical specs, and industry standards.
  2. Analyzing client requirements: Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and proposing suitable solutions considering economic, technical, and regulatory factors.
  3. Managing tenders and RFQs: Preparing detailed estimates, cost and schedule forecasts, and liaising with suppliers to secure competitive bids.
  4. Supporting commercial negotiations: Working with the sales team to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and supplier selection to ensure competitive proposals.
  5. Conducting feasibility studies: Analyzing project opportunities, including technical and financial assessments of photovoltaic systems.
  6. Maintaining client relationships: Building and sustaining strong relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Required Skills
  • Experience in preparing proposals for photovoltaic plants and managing commercial projects, preferably in medium to large-scale contexts.
  • Proficiency with key photovoltaic design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVcase).
  • Good understanding of PV sector regulations and standards, especially for industrial and commercial installations.
  • Economic analysis skills, including cost estimation and timing of project phases.
  • Experience in commercial negotiations and client/supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to produce clear and precise technical and commercial documentation.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical, Energy, Civil Engineering or related fields.
  • Previous experience as Proposal Engineer / Sales in renewable energy or photovoltaic companies.
  • Knowledge of foreign languages: English and Spanish are a plus.
  • Ability to work in international settings and with clients from diverse regions.
