Orient Express La Minerva, Rome

Considered the beloved capital of the Orient Express legend, Rome will host the first Orient Express hotel, La Minerva, in 2024. In partnership with Arsenale S.p.A, Orient Express has entrusted Hugo Toro with the interior architecture and artistic direction of the hotel. The former Palazzo Fonseca, a sumptuous 17th-century palace with a majestic façade, is adorned with Roman columns, sculptures by Rinaldi Rinaldo, and the goddess Minerva. By the end of 2024, a new décor inspired by Roman domus and the riches of the 'Eternal City' will be revealed, blending contemporary elegance with historical grandeur.
