Vector Synergy is seeking an experienced Satellite Technician for installation and configuration of satellite communication systems. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience and a strong background in electronic measurements and satellite systems.

Competenze

• 10 years of experience required.
• At least 5 years as a satellite technician or similar role.

Mansioni

• Installation and configuration of satellite communication systems.
• Setup of satellite link network, baseband and RF configuration.
• Installation of Power/data and fibre optic cables.

Conoscenze

Knowledge of electronic and RF measurement instruments

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Formazione

High school diploma or degree in electronics or related field

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required

• High school diploma or a degree in electronics or a related network/ communication field experience of 10 years is required;
• At least 5 year of experience as a satellite technician or in a similar role;
• Good knowledge of electronic and RF measurement instruments, proficiency with hand and power tools.
  
  

Duties/role:

• Providing t he complete Installation and configuration of all elements of a satellite communication system ;
• Providing the updates/changes of hardware and software configuration:
• On all satellite station elements as required or ordered / requested;
• Satellite link setup network, baseband and RF configuration;
• Software / configuration update and patches on all systems as required;
• Providing the installation of Power/data cable and fibre optic cable, maintaining, labelling and updating as-built documents.
