The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team. In this role, you will engage with both new and existing customers on transformative programs involving GenAI/Agentic AI, IT Strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. You will collaborate with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth.

Your experience in selling consulting services within the technology sector will enable you to translate technical concepts into business value. Proficiency in business development, executing sales methodologies (MEDDPICC), and managing CRM systems is essential. Your performance will be measured against metrics such as Revenue, Billable Bookings, Partner Subcontracting, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team dedicated to helping customers achieve their desired business outcomes using AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network to execute enterprise cloud initiatives, providing tailored guidance through our specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leading business development efforts by engaging customers and driving high-value programs and projects.
  2. Collaborating with Amazon Global Sales (AGS) representatives for coordinated account management.
  3. Creating service proposals, securing SOW sign-offs, and ensuring successful project delivery.
  4. Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure delivery of business outcomes and maximize revenue.
  5. Advocating for customers while aligning with AWS business objectives.

Qualifications
  • Experience in technology sales, account management, or cloud services.
  • Proven success with sales targets, program development, and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and IT strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, especially with C-level clients.
  • Ability to develop multi-year service strategies and analyze key performance metrics.
  • Technical proficiency in AWS services and solutions.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, storytelling, and active listening skills.
  • Established network of senior leadership in Italy Enterprise Accounts (FTSE).
