We are seeking a Proposal Manager for Secondary MV Switchgears with experience in tenders for Medium Voltage Switchgear. This is a permanent position based in Milan within the Electrification and Automation Area.

Your Challenge

As Proposal Manager for Secondary MV Switchgears, you will be part of the proposal team during the entire bid phase, focusing on technical and economic aspects. Your responsibilities include ensuring that product and system offers are prepared on time and meet customer and company requirements, maintaining technical integrity and compliance with scope and specifications.

You will collaborate closely with the Sales Department and Management to secure order awards and with the project execution team for proper handover.

Main activities include:

• Designing projects and developing optimal configurations (technical and economic) based on customer requirements and available portfolio.
• Managing the entire bid process independently, ensuring high-quality offers for Secondary Medium Voltage Switchgears, and reporting status and strategy to management.
• Standardizing proven concepts and solutions for replication as functional packages.
• Building customer knowledge and relationships, supporting sales clusters, and conducting meetings at customer sites as needed.
• Coordinating stakeholders (Sales, Procurement, Third Parties) to ensure consistency in technical, contractual, pricing, risk, and safety aspects.
• Collaborating with headquarters, factories, regional offices, and product managers.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Experience in offering MV Switchgears, product marketing, or product management.
• Knowledge of MV distribution, renewables market, electrical systems, and understanding of electrical schemes and tender specifications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or a Technical High School diploma.
• Passion for continuous growth.
• Respect for diversity, willingness to co-create, and knowledge sharing.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Eligibility to work in Italy.
