Senior Business Development Manager

The Opportunity

Are you a seasoned business development professional seeking a challenging role in the offshore / marine sector? Do you have a passion for securing profitable project opportunities and leading high-performing teams?

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with clients, and driving growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Examine tender documentation, including operational provisions, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
  • Perform cost calculations and project budgeting.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements and company guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough records throughout the bidding process for approval, traceability, and project handover.
  • Participate in business development activities, including social media marketing and conference / trade show attendance.
  • Manage relationships with customers during the tender clarification stages.
  • Oversee document management, ensuring proper distribution, collection, and archiving of tender-related materials.
  • Conduct peer reviews for each tender to ensure quality and accuracy.

Requirements :

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (tender, bid, or proposal manager) within an offshore / marine environment.
