An international contractor in the oil & gas sector is seeking a Project Quality Manager for a pipeline project in Central Italy. The successful candidate will establish and manage a project quality management system, ensuring compliance and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates should possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree, with 8-10 years of construction experience and a strong command of English.

Position

We are currently seeking a Project Quality Manager for our pipeline project in Italy.

The successful candidate will establish, implement, document, and control a project quality management system in accordance with project requirements and the company's quality management system.

Responsibilities

• Implement all software related to the Construction Management System (CMS), both commercial and proprietary, on the project;
• Prepare the project quality plan and procedures aligned with contractual requirements and project organization;
• Plan, execute, and report on project quality audits as per schedule, criticalities, and contractual obligations;
• Support the project team on all quality issues relevant to client requirements and other stakeholders;
• Define minimum quality assurance and control requirements for subcontracted activities and contribute to work requisitions;
• Coordinate with expediting and inspection departments regarding inspection scope and quality control for supplies;
• Evaluate technical proposals from potential subcontractors against quality requirements and participate in clarification meetings if needed;
• Ensure subcontractors implement a consistent quality system post-contract award;
• Prepare and review quality reports (weekly, monthly, etc.) based on data collected from the project quality organization;
• Participate in selecting the quality team personnel;
• Implement a non-conformity management system to monitor status and establish corrective actions;
• Establish systems for measuring quality indicators for management review.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree;
• 8-10 years of practical experience in construction;
• Previous experience on pipeline projects;
• Excellent command of English.
