GEA Group in Italy is seeking a procurement professional focused on new projects and sourcing activities. You will support procurement processes from requisitions to invoice management, master data, and project interactions.

You will work across procurement, sourcing, and order processing to ensure on-time delivery and cost targets, while collaborating with R&D, QA, and operations. Fluency in English and Italian is required, with a willingness to travel for short trips.

Competenze

• Experience in operational procurement roles.
• Strong ability to work as part of a team, including in a demanding environment.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience working in complex organizations is welcome.
• Cost and data analysis skills.
• Experience with AI tool implementation is welcome.
• Exposure to manufacturing and/or service operations.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Financial and business understanding.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ownership and accountability for both successes and failures.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of shipping, customs clearance and logistics processes is welcome.
• Availability for short business trips.

Mansioni

• Procurement & Operational Purchasing: Process POs, expedites, clarify issues with suppliers, manage demand, volumes and delivery times.
• Sourcing: RFQs, supplier selection, monitor procurement planning for projects, support supplier base development.
• Purchase Requisition, Purchasing & Order Processing: process requisitions/POs, resolve invoice mismatches, maintain vendor master data.
• Project-related Interactions: act as procurement contact for PM, Eng, Planning, Controlling and other functions; support sourcing for scope of supply; participate in project reviews and steering committees.
