A Snapshot of Your Day

For our Project Procurement department, we are currently looking for a Project Procurement Manager (PPM) to join our Europe and Africa regional team in Milano. You will support the development of the Transformation of Industries (TI) business and Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization (EAD). Your role involves mastering project-related procurement challenges with a team, ensuring adherence to procurement rules and regulations. You will collaborate with various departments, project teams, technical functions, and global commodity managers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Serve as the procurement single point of contact for projects during execution, working closely with Commodity Managers to synchronize procurement activities with project milestones.
2. Build, supervise, and report the project procurement plan, creating a centralized supply chain end-to-end reporting view.
3. Support the project team in procurement risk and opportunity management, delegate ad-hoc procurement demands, and consolidate lessons learned. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to standardized processes and align with project execution targets.
4. Advocate for a project-centric procurement organization, focusing on customer needs and enhancing the supply chain.

What You Bring

• A motivated, resilient, responsible, and structured colleague capable of interacting across all organizational levels.
• Results-oriented with project management skills, familiar with critical metrics and reporting, and able to work within a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering with proven procurement and/or project management experience.
• Curious, eager to learn, and skilled in managing diverse customers with excellent communication skills. Able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in multicultural environments and large organizations is advantageous.
