Company Overview

Our client is a multinational company leading in the design, manufacturing, commissioning, and support of automatic handling and sorting systems for the courier, postal, distribution, and e-commerce markets.

Job Title: Project Mechanical Coordinator

The selected candidate will be part of the Mechanical Design Business Unit within the Technical Office, reporting to the Engineering Director. The role involves managing a team of 10 resources.

Responsibilities

Supervising design activities, including:

Layout drawings
Mechanical drawings
Integration of mechanical subsystems
Preparation of documentation

Distributing workload among internal and external resources.

Organizing training sessions for internal resources through regular update meetings.

Verifying the performance of external resources.

Supporting the proposal team in preparing mechanical effort estimates, ensuring compliance with tender specifications, and evaluating project consistency.

Managing problem resolution interventions as needed.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have extensive experience in resource coordination and mechanical design roles. Experience in the intralogistics sector is a plus. Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad is required. Good command of the English language is essential. The candidate should also possess strong problem-solving skills, organizational ability, and authority.
