The Role

1. Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met and deliverables are achieved.
2. Manage the assigned workload and project to ensure effective and efficient working.
3. Administer assigned contracts and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, including contract claim and dispute resolution.
4. Prepare and maintain project documentation.
5. Maintain up-to-date forecasts and reports.
6. Maintain a risk register for all projects and escalate significant risks to the Delivery Manager.
7. Manage the financial performance and coordinate invoicing of allocated projects.
8. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party contractors within the project context.
9. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with Xylem’s quality standards, environmental policies, and health and safety procedures.
10. Provide technical and project management support for complex projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager.
11. Prepare project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cash flow.
12. Undertake project reviews and close-out procedures.
13. Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the water sector in the Italian market.
2. Proven knowledge of Italian and EU regulations relating to the water sector, including Resolution no. 655/15 of 23 December 2015, and related contractual quality regulations.
3. Strong project management skills, including budget, risk, and schedule management.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Fluent in English and Italian.
8. PMI or Prince2 certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
9. Experience managing Big Data and Enterprise Data Platform projects is preferred.
10. Willingness to travel or work from customer facilities up to 30% of the time.
