The Role
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives and deliverables are met.
- Oversee assigned workloads and projects for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Administer contracts and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, including claims and dispute resolution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date forecasts and reports.
- Maintain a risk register for all projects and escalate significant risks to the Delivery Manager.
- Manage financial performance and coordinate invoicing for projects.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party contractors.
- Ensure projects comply with quality standards, environmental policies, and health and safety procedures.
- Provide technical and project management support under the guidance of senior staff.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cash flow plans.
- Conduct project reviews and close-out procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the water sector within the Italian market.
- Knowledge of Italian and EU water sector regulations, including Resolution no. 655/15 and related standards.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, risk, and schedule management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- PMI or Prince2 certification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience with Big Data and Enterprise Data Platform projects preferred.
- Willingness to travel or work from customer facilities up to 30% of the time.
