The Role
  1. Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives and deliverables are met.
  2. Oversee assigned workloads and projects for effectiveness and efficiency.
  3. Administer contracts and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, including claims and dispute resolution.
  4. Prepare and maintain project documentation.
  5. Maintain up-to-date forecasts and reports.
  6. Maintain a risk register for all projects and escalate significant risks to the Delivery Manager.
  7. Manage financial performance and coordinate invoicing for projects.
  8. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party contractors.
  9. Ensure projects comply with quality standards, environmental policies, and health and safety procedures.
  10. Provide technical and project management support under the guidance of senior staff.
  11. Prepare budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cash flow plans.
  12. Conduct project reviews and close-out procedures.
  13. Support continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  1. At least 5 years of experience in the water sector within the Italian market.
  2. Knowledge of Italian and EU water sector regulations, including Resolution no. 655/15 and related standards.
  3. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, risk, and schedule management.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Fluent in English and Italian.
  8. PMI or Prince2 certification (or equivalent) preferred.
  9. Experience with Big Data and Enterprise Data Platform projects preferred.
  10. Willingness to travel or work from customer facilities up to 30% of the time.
