Bep's, the largest specialized retail chain in Italy for accessories for cars, motorcycles, and bikes, is seeking to immediately hire a Retail Sector Designer.

Role Overview

The candidate will join the technical office to design, develop, and modernize new and existing Bep's stores across the country.

Main Responsibilities

1. Design and manage new retail projects following corporate format standards.
2. Organize and oversee external contractors.
3. Verify project phases (air, water, electrical, fire systems).
4. Manage construction sites and coordinate involved companies.
5. Check work schedules and progress.
6. Handle permits, liaise with external stakeholders, and supervise construction activities.
7. Collect and archive project documentation per legal and internal standards.
8. Analyze and manage tenders and external suppliers.
9. Assess the technical and construction feasibility of projects.
10. Coordinate and verify external technical studies for administrative procedures (e.g., permits, waste disposal).
11. Supervise the quality of work by contractors.
12. Monitor project progress and quality, ensuring adherence to timelines.
13. Manage costs and seek optimization.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or sales points.
• Diploma as a Surveyor or Building Technician / Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Experience in building design and technical drawing.
• Basic knowledge of systems (electrical, air conditioning, fire safety).
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good command of Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Technical management and accounting skills for project handling (using Excel).
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial skills for negotiations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy for site inspections.
