A leading consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Vendor Management Portal implementation in Milan, Italy. The role demands over 8 years of experience in project management within SaaS environments and a strong background in vendor management. You will ensure project milestones are met and act as the main point of contact among stakeholders. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the Vendor Management Portal implementation, from planning to deployment.
• Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met with high quality and attention to detail.
• Act as the central point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the main vendor (System Integrator or software partner) to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
• Oversee contract storage and metadata extraction, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal tech teams and service owners for seamless integration and support.
• Manage and align over 30 system integrations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency and minimal disruption.
• Identify and address typical IT project challenges proactively, mitigating risks for smooth execution.
• Liaise with an external Change Management firm (based in Europe) to support organizational readiness and adoption.

What You'll Bring:

• 8+ years of project management experience in SaaS or software environments.
• Strong background in vendor management, including selection, negotiation, and performance tracking.
• Basic understanding of transnational systems and their support for business operations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project delivery methodologies.
