Une entreprise leader dans la fabrication de machines recherche un Project Manager Sales pour représenter SMS group et piloter des projets complexes. Le poste nécessite une solide expérience en ventes techniques avec un diplôme en ingénierie. Le candidat devra coordonner des équipes, gérer des budgets et assurer une communication efficace avec les clients jusqu'à la signature des contrats. Des compétences en mécanique et une capacité à comprendre des dessins techniques sont essentielles.

Competenze

SMS group S.p.A. is part of the German SMS group, a global leader in plant and machinery manufacturing for the steelmaking and non-ferrous materials industry, with approximately 14,400 employees worldwide.

Located in Italy, SMS group S.p.A. employs over 500 staff across Tarcento (Udine), San Donato Milanese (Milan), and Genoa. The company specializes in producing innovative, turnkey plants such as hot and cold rolling mills, process lines, reheating furnaces, heat treatment lines, rolling mills for long products, meltshops, and continuous casting machines.

We are seeking a

Project Manager Sales SIE HANDELN

  • Represent SMS group in dealings with customers and coordinate project activities internally;
  • Conduct regular project discussions and negotiations with clients and consortium members, documenting outcomes;
  • Lead core team meetings, ensuring proper documentation;
  • Act as the 'entrepreneur inside the company' for the overall sales project;
  • Understand project goals, requirements, and bid budgets;
  • Define project strategies in collaboration with the Core Sales Team and Project Owner Sales;
  • Manage the Core Sales Team effectively;
  • Allocate project budgets (Bid Budget) within approved limits;
  • Implement target costing based on project financials;
  • Negotiate as the official contact point with clients and partners, handling technical and commercial communication until contract signing;
  • Organize project meetings, including risk assessments as needed;
  • Adhere to travel guidelines and obtain necessary approvals;
  • Request and manage all project-related data and information;
  • Hold power of attorney for contract negotiations, legally binding only when signed by authorized representatives.

SIE WISSEN

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
  • 3-4 years of experience in technical sales within complex plant manufacturing;
  • Proficiency in analyzing customer requests and preparing technical offers;
  • Strong commercial skills for solution and strategy identification;
  • Good knowledge of mechanical technical drawings; basic understanding of media systems, electrical, and automation packages;
  • Coordination skills for managing proposal teams;
  • Willingness to travel internationally;
  • Fluent in English; German skills are a plus;
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Project, and basic knowledge of SAP;
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, etc., is advantageous but not required.
