We are seeking a
Project Manager Sales SIE HANDELN
- Representing SMS group towards customers and managing internal project relationships;
- Conducting regular project discussions and negotiations with customers and consortium members, documenting outcomes;
- Leading core team meetings and recording results;
- Acting as the overall sales project lead, functioning as an “entrepreneur inside the company”;
- Understanding project goals, requirements, and bid budget;
- Defining project strategies in collaboration with the Core Sales Team and Project Owner Sales;
- Managing the Core Sales Team;
- Allocating project budgets (Bid Budget) approved for each stage;
- Implementing target costing based on project costs and results;
- Negotiating as the official contact point with customers and contract partners for technical and commercial matters, in close cooperation with the Commercial and Technical Managers Sales until contract signing;
- Scheduling and leading project meetings, including risk assessments;
- Managing travel within company travel policies;
- Requesting all necessary project data and information;
- Possessing written power of attorney for contract negotiations, with legally binding signatures by authorized representatives.
SIE WISSEN
- Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
- At least 3-4 years of experience in technical sales within complex plant manufacturing companies;
- Experience in analyzing customer requests and preparing technical offers;
- Commercial skills to develop competitive solutions and manufacturing strategies;
- Proficiency in Mechanical technical drawings, basic knowledge of media systems, electrical, and automation packages;
- Strong coordination skills for managing proposal teams;
- Willingness to travel worldwide;
- Fluent in English; German is a plus;
- Proficient in MS Office, including Project, and basic knowledge of SAP;
- Experience with drawing tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo) is a plus but not required.
