Turner & Townsend has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Real Estate Hospitality team in Italy. You will guide clients and their teams across a number of exciting projects, leading end-to-end project management and ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality targets.

The role requires 4–10 years of experience in real estate projects, with fluency in Italian and English, and a degree in civil engineering, architecture or similar.

• Proven track record delivering high-quality project management across full lifecycle.
• Fluent Italian and English language skills.

• Lead project management commissions from end to end for large or complex projects.
• Act as day-to-day client interface to meet objectives on time, cost and quality.
• Define success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Establish governance, processes and systems for the project.
• Develop detailed project plans and advise on resource procurement.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and monitor performance using KPIs.
• Manage change control and project finances, and communicate progress.

Job Description

Turner & Townsend has an exciting opportunityfor aProjectManager to joinour Real Estate Hospitality team to help guide ourclients and their professional teamson a number of exciting projects across Italy.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

• To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects
• To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards

Project management, to include:

• Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives
• Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
• Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
• Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
• Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
• Advising upon the procurement of resources
• Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
• Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance
• Managing the change control process
• Monitoring and advising upon project finances
• Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
• Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

Qualifications

• Experience of 4to 10years inreal estate projects, ideally in hospitality
• A proven track record of delivering high quality projectmanagementservices across the full project lifecycle
• Fluent Italian and English language skills
• Degree in civil engineering, architecture or similar
