Overview
The candidate will work in close collaboration with the Head of PPMO, the Senior PMs and the other members of the PPMO team to manage R&D projects of multiple levels of complexity, from early (IND ready to Ph1-2) to later stages (Ph3 and beyond) of the Clinical Drug Development and Life Cycle Management.
Responsibilities
- Under the functional coordination and supervision of a Senior Project Manager, execute the programs towards predefined objectives, activities, budget, and schedule.
- Establish and maintain project and operational documentation (Agenda, Meeting Minutes, Gantt Chart, Project Trackers, Stakeholder Chart, Risk Management Tool, communication grid, etc.)
- Arrange and facilitate meetings.
- Support the budgeting process and monitor budget utilization towards plan execution.
- Monitor progress of activities and results.
- Consolidate information and provide timely insight and reports.
- Identify/anticipate issues and roadblocks to propose contingency/mitigation plans to the Senior Project Manager for approval.
- Ensure project activities are run according to the established R&D project governance.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Project Managers, fostering a safe, professional, and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all stakeholders, empowering asset development teams with the information needed to excel in their roles.
Qualifications
- Master's degree/PhD in scientific disciplines, coupled with experience in oncology development.
- Ability to understand and integrate/manage data from various sources in the context of clinical trials in Oncology.
- Good level of understanding of the basics of Clinical development across clinical stages and Life Cycle Management.
- Preferred 5+ years' experience in project management within the pharmaceutical R&D industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
- Familiarity with agile development methodology, coupled with the ability to thrive in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Preferred Project Management certification and experience working within a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.
