Overview
The candidate will work in close collaboration with the Head of PPMO, the Senior PMs, and other members of the PPMO team to manage R&D projects of varying complexity, from early stages (IND ready to Ph1-2) to later stages (Ph3 and beyond) of Clinical Drug Development and Life Cycle Management.
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, execute programs to meet predefined objectives, activities, budgets, and schedules.
- Establish and maintain project documentation such as agendas, meeting minutes, Gantt charts, project trackers, stakeholder charts, risk management tools, and communication grids.
- Arrange and facilitate project meetings.
- Support the budgeting process and monitor budget utilization against plans.
- Monitor progress of activities and outcomes.
- Consolidate information and provide timely insights and reports.
- Identify and anticipate issues or roadblocks, proposing contingency or mitigation plans for approval.
- Ensure project activities adhere to established R&D project governance.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Project Managers, fostering a professional and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure seamless communication and collaboration among stakeholders, empowering asset development teams with necessary information.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in scientific disciplines, with experience in oncology development.
- Ability to understand and manage data from various sources within clinical trials in Oncology.
- Good understanding of clinical development stages and Life Cycle Management.
- Preferred 5+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical R&D industry.
- Proven ability to manage projects effectively.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in a matrixed, geographically diverse environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Preferred project management certification and experience in enterprise or cross-division business models.
