4 S.T.E.L. Engineering of Mission Viejo, CA is seeking to hire a licensed Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer to be a full-time Project Manager / Professional Engineer and oversee various structural engineering projects. This position oversees a team of one to three staff members and ensures that projects are completed in a timely manner. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Project Managers / Professional Engineers earn a competitive salary of $80,000-$120,000/year based on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT MANAGER / PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER

As a Project Manager / Professional Engineer, you are excited to come to work each day to lead your team of Civil Engineers or Structural Engineers and Drafters to success. Because you are a great leader, you know how to motivate your team and utilize their skills to successfully complete projects. You produce structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details in an accurate and timely manner. Your understanding of contractual language assists you as you review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California - Civil or Structural
• 5+ years of structural engineering design experience
• Management experience
• Experience performing structural engineering calculations for residential, commercial, education, and/or solar
• AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D experience
• Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
