Your role

We are looking for a Project Manager Offices & Showrooms EMEA to manage activities related to Construction Investments for our Offices & Showrooms located across EMEA.

The Project Manager will coordinate and supervise activities between various departments involved in the project. While each department focuses on its specific function, the Project Manager is responsible for consolidating information and managing project phases from design to realization and commissioning.

Main responsibilities:
  • Project and construction engineering for EssilorLuxottica Offices & Showrooms within EMEA, supporting divisions like Essilor, Luxottica, and Grandvision.
  • Coordinate relations with stakeholders including Region Managers, Country Managers, Human Resources, Real Estate, Local Project Managers, and Architects.
  • Oversee design processes for new and remodeled projects with local consultants.
  • Assist in selecting local consultants and permit expeditors from the corporate vendor list.
  • Support in preparing reports, specifications, and technical analyses to define design requirements, equipment, and services.
  • Provide technical direction on engineering design, layouts, build details, schedules, and materials.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Assist Project Managers in managing budgets, resources, and coordinating teams of designers, R&D managers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage relations with Tender Managers and Procurement teams for supplier selection.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, tracking deliverables.
  • Share progress reports, issues, and solutions with stakeholders.
  • Implement process changes as needed to meet updated objectives.
Main requirements:
  • Ensure delivery of planned store roll-outs to respective markets.
  • Manage relations with markets and stakeholders regarding timing, budget, and construction status.
  • Communicate construction constraints and achievements effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality of store execution and snag completion post-opening.
Network of interaction:

Internal: Project Management, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Real Estate, Human Resources.

External: General Contractors, Local Consultants, Local Project Managers, Material Suppliers (IT, Digital, TVCC, Sound, etc.)

Candidate profile:
  • Strong commitment to targets and technical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Teamwork orientation and organizational skills.
  • Construction site management and reporting capabilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Educational background in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of French is highly appreciated.
