What will be your mission?
Reporting to the Director of the Projects and Construction area of Southern Europe and MH Headquarters, the Project Manager is responsible for repositioning within the existing portfolio as well as new openings. This role manages projects within key milestones, budget, and quality parameters. Responsibilities include analyzing costs, risk assessments, forecasts, creating and maintaining transparent reporting, and identifying savings.
What will you do?
- Control and approve the global budget.
- Manage repositioning projects and new openings.
- Handle feasibility reporting and ensure refurbishment Scope of Work (SoW) aligns with Business Plan (BP) for repositioning and new openings.
- Oversee construction management, including PMO, cost, scope, quality, planning control, and standard compliance.
- Conduct legal inspections, manage permits, and ensure regulatory compliance, including preventive and corrective actions.
- Coordinate and manage stakeholders such as design teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
- Support asset management and expansion efforts for negotiation proposals and new hotel developments.
- Conduct tendering processes, analyze tenders, and review technical and financial proposals for projects and CAPEX.
- Coordinate contracting and supervision activities with internal departments and external resources.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in architecture or construction management with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience in construction project management at technical and strategic levels.
- Knowledge of facility management, industry practices, and standards.
- Experience in the hotel industry is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of local construction costs and industry regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Innovative, creative mindset, team-oriented, and communicative.
- Proactive, organized, pragmatic, and able to prioritize tasks.
- High analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to see the big picture.
- Comfortable collaborating with internal and external partners at various levels.
- Self-sufficient with a strong sense of responsibility, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
