Job Opportunity: Mechanical Project Manager HVAC

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager HVAC for a client company specialized in plant engineering, from feasibility studies to implementation. The position offers a permanent contract.

• Salary and classification will be evaluated based on the profile.
• Company car for mixed use.
• Ticket €8.00; opportunities for training and internal growth.
• Full-time work from Monday to Friday.
• Workplace: Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI), from September Origgio (VA). Travel within Italy based on project sites (mainly Northern Italy).

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Project Manager will collaborate with technical staff and will be specialized in:

1. Participating in site inspections during the initial phase to assess feasibility of HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems from a mechanical perspective.
2. Preparing project estimates in direct consultation with clients.
3. Managing relationships with suppliers, including negotiation and procurement management.
4. Developing the executive project, adjusting tender drawings using AutoCAD.
5. Coordinating subcontractors to ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
6. Monitoring site accounting, preparing progress reports, and supervising cost/revenue analysis with Arca Solutions.
7. Drafting detailed progress reports and supporting final testing phases.
8. Updating execution drawings to as-built status and producing legal certifications and system manuals.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A diploma as a Mechanical Technician or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• At least three years of experience as a project manager in companies specializing in HVAC system design and installation.
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings related to HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and natural gas systems.
• Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational skills, and result-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team.
