Responsibilities:

1. Act as the official point of contact with the customer and contract partners in all matters (technical and commercial), handling communications in close cooperation with the Contract Manager/Technical Manager.
2. Bear overarching responsibility for compliance with schedule, quality, cost and budget objectives, and for customer satisfaction.
3. Manage the entire project team and be accountable for the preparation and updating of the overall time schedule.
4. Ensure compliance with scheduled deadlines, cost and performance targets (implementation of the contract provisions and technical specifications) of the project.
5. Prepare MIKA (with cost to end view) in terms of cost planning/cost control, forecasting and risk assessment together with the Contract Manager.
6. Coordinate and safeguard the provision of resources in the line departments in consultation with line managers and/or the Project Owner.
7. Shape customer relations, coordination, reporting, progress reports, and communication in relation to the customer contract.
8. Shape relations with key stakeholders (information and communication), ensuring compliance with in-house standards for reporting, scheduling, and cost controlling.
9. Prepare for and participate in Steering Board Meetings in compliance with Project Governance Guideline.
10. Engage in active project control (e.g. application of the Quality Gates method/PM-MS).
11. Input/safeguard information transfer of Lessons Learned to the Project Owner.
12. Ensure compliance with and safeguarding of project management standards and all requirements of the applicable SMS Project Management Directive.

Minimum Requirements:

1. A degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and/or a completed apprenticeship and several years of professional experience in the field of Project Management.
2. Good written and spoken English.
3. Willingness to travel worldwide.
4. Confident handling of MS Office and Project or similar tools.
