OHB Italia is seeking a Project Manager for its Equipment Business Unit in Milano, with an immediate start. The ideal candidate has a technical background, with experience working on complex systems in technical roles, and at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.

Your Tasks:

1. Program Management of Space Equipment (e.g., space mechanisms and electronic units)
2. Project planning, coordination, and completion within time and budget
3. Interface with the Customer
4. Coordination and management of external suppliers
5. Coordination of internal resources and activities
6. Preparation and coordination of meetings, reviews, and workshops
7. Definition and management of project economics (cost estimates)
8. Development and maintenance of project planning
9. Identification and management of project risks
10. Management of project changes
11. Monitoring project progress and status
12. Measuring project performance

Your Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree (MSc) in Aerospace, Electronics, Telecommunications, Management, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable qualifications
2. At least 3 years of experience in technical roles within electronics or mechanical engineering, preferably in the space sector
3. At least 3 years of Program Management experience, preferably in the space sector
4. Knowledge of space industry standards and practices is advantageous
5. Strong team-building, coordination, conflict resolution skills, with a positive attitude and leadership qualities
6. Proficiency in project economics and cost estimation
7. Experience with planning and scheduling techniques and tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Excel) in complex, multi-project environments
8. Experience with contract change management
9. Ability to work under pressure with tight schedules
10. Capacity to manage multitasking effectively
11. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
12. Strong analytical and organizational skills
13. Willingness to undertake business travels across Europe
14. Fluent in spoken and written English; Italian language skills are a plus
