Job Opportunity: Project Manager at a Multinational Company

A leading multinational company in rail systems is seeking a Project Manager.

Under the supervision of the Modernization Manager, the resource will work closely with other engineering disciplines (mechatronics, internal and external industrial engineering, technical sales towards customers) to ensure quality, fulfill requirements, and reach target costs. The successful candidate will acquire knowledge of the company's product portfolio to propose products to customers and understand market requirements, translating them into company activities.

Within the RS organization, the Project Manager will support Sales and Customer in all aspects of managing client projects according to local guidelines:

1. Cooperate with Sales in communicating with customers.
2. Discuss, analyze, and evaluate customer requirements and specifications, and develop commercial proposals.
3. Negotiate technical, commercial, and cost details with customers, purchasing, and engineering departments.
4. Prepare and present customer needs plans to ensure feasibility.
5. Set up and maintain project plans.
6. Support design reviews, address upcoming claims, and facilitate communication between the customer and project team.
7. Monitor project budgets and all commercial aspects, including payments and contract management.
8. Identify, assess, and mitigate risk factors; manage change orders and project modifications.
9. Report regularly to the Senior Project Manager or team leader.

Education and professional requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience managing projects.
• Availability for frequent business trips to follow clients.

The contract and salary will be commensurate with the experience gained.
