Amaris Consulting is seeking an IT Project Manager with Finance experience for opportunities in Milan, Turin, Rome or Bologna. You will lead finance-focused IT projects, coordinating stakeholders across multiple teams and ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality.

Role requires 5+ years in IT PM, finance project exposure, and fluent Italian and English. Hybrid work with 1 day/month in Milan; freelance option at €250–€300/day is also available.

Competenze

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Finance-related projects experience is required or a plus.
• Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, ERP or Finance transformation is beneficial.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Your missions?

• Lead and coordinate IT projects within Finance, ensuring delivery according to scope, timeline, budget and quality objectives.
• Manage projects involving Finance processes, systems and integrations, coordinating business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams, systems and external partners in complex and international environments.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical solutions and project objectives.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing, implementation, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Ensure project activities comply with relevant Finance, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provide clear project reporting and status updates to stakeholders and management.

Your profile?

• Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, with proven experience managing Finance-related projects.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, regulatory/compliance projects, ERP or Finance transformation would be a plus.
• Experience with system integrations, complex IT environments and cross-functional projects.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Strong planning, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects in dynamic environments.
• Hybrid position: 1 day per month in Milan offices.
• The position is also open to freelance professionals, with a daily rate in the range of €250–€300/day, depending on experience and expertise.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

• Permanent contract: Gross Annual Salary in the range of EUR 30,000 – EUR 50,000, depending on seniority, experience and skills.
• Freelance contract: Daily rate in the range of EUR 250–300/day, depending on experience and expertise.
• The salary range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
• During the recruitment process, we will not ask for information about your current or previous salary.
