Qualifications

• Laurea in ingegneria o equivalente.
• Almeno 5 anni di esperienza come project manager.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will be leading the execution of projects with different complexities and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets and scheduling targets.

The Work Model For The Role Is

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

• Defining, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
• Ensuring that the project follows execution’s best practices and ABB policies. Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization, monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risk, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project and ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
• Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
• Supporting Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims and project changes and act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

Qualifications For The Role

• Engineering background with at least 5+ years of experience as Project Manager.
• Good knowledge in automation, electrical and hydro power systems.
• Proactivity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills will complete your profile.
• Able to work under pressure, to operate in a resource constrained environment, to manage many projects concurrently, to set priorities, and to be goal oriented. Ownership and commitment in all your tasks are mandatory. Ability to understand customer needs.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with internal departments including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance. Experience with project management tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred) is essential.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in both technical and commercial contexts.
• PM certifications will be a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA).
• You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
• Availability to short trips in Italy and abroad, up to 30% of the time.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: € 48.000

Variable Pay: AIP target 5% +Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
